Heard this in the chat and hoped people would file an official bugreport. There's nothing in the mailbox today so here we go. Investigate.

Well, what we know now after code review is that the worker ant doesn't drop a thing by default. And without a queen/anthill nearby it most likely has nothing to do. I remember the ones on the public farm just being present as well.

Yes worker and warrior ants don´t drop anything like the queen, but worker ants are petz frog food.

Maybe they can be used later in a food recipe like the "bug hunter special sandwich" or the warrior ants as source for formic acid(magic, smithing, food conservation).

edit: this issue should be relabeled because it isn´t a bug.

That is a good idea. So this is an enhancement issue now. I really like the idea of formic acid as magic ingredient.

Thanks for Bla for testing, the worker ants seem to behave within what the code allows them to and do not drop anything by default.
