Delete Branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
We need to give notice way ahead of time before we alter anything. At least 6 month.
Most controversial ist most likely the mapblock wipe. If there are elaborate builds somewhere in the nether, we either need to save them or otherwise make sure that no-one's hard work is taken away.
Issue will be edited if new tasks emerge
I'm wondering,
Would we implement all of them at once, or would they have a sequence?
Another question would be,
If we decided to not wipe the map, how would other fixes, such as
and
and
be done?
There is no epic builds there, but wiping Atlantis Research Center nether base would be sad (the place where Specimen 101 was caught and some expedition logs based on).
DragonsVolcanoDance also has pretty big place which many people helped secure/expand...
I understand the wipe, but feel that there should be a way to preserve some of this too (maybe not in the "new" nether, but somewhere? idk).
On the other hand, maybe those places should be left only in the books (but with pictures ;p).
If we know of such places, we can entirely work around them ... or at least test what the new nether would look like and how well they fit in.
