Do we want to unify the honey bottles?
btw. Theres no recipe for (bees:honey_comb -> Anything) or did I miss something?
Wild bees honeycomb is what you get when using bees:grafting_tool on bees:hive_wild ; it stacks in inventory and is edible as food. If you harvest the queen bee from bees:hive_wild then you can place in an artificial hive with bees mod honey frames which get processed in an extractor to give the bees mod honey bottle. I think that is in contrast to petz beehive which you use an empty bottle on to fill the bottle with honey.
i think we want to keep all the different bees mechanics (we have 3?), and i don't think that unifying various honey items would be as simple as just aliasing items, so i've held off on trying that.
Food value could be changed. Personally, I feel that the bees mod food value is a bit low. I have a giant honey farm set up, which makes the honey super abundant for me.
But typically, it is super slow to produce. Also very click intensive for he whole harvesting process. And yet it has the same food value as carrots (3 pts).
I think 6 or 7 would be a more reasonable food value relative to the non-automated production effort of honey.
