Add a nonlinear per-day per-player xp progression where one xp is one xp if you earned none in the past 24hours, but where one xp = 1/x xp when you earned y xp in the past 24 hours.

is this even really needed? a handful of players get a lot of XP; even someone who's keyed into game mechanics as much as i am, has probably permanently fallen off the top 10 list

after reading more of the issues, the problem w/ massive XP boosts is mostly cuz players suddenly got XP for cutting down leaves from trees using choppy? the solution should be to limit or disable XP gains from that mechanic.
