dreamcatcher doesn't make petz invincible, and there's no real way to track the lifecycle of individual petz to see what happened to them.
Eventually I'd like all mobs have IDs like the Miocene do: https://gitea.your-land.de/your-land/yl_events/src/branch/yl_stable/tribe_miocene.lua
my mob_composer mod gives every mob a unique sequential ID, which can be used in logging, though it's far from being ready for use.
This petz was not actually missing it just did that thing where it leaves the area and goes above - player found it.
