i'm very much in favor of removing (most) uncraftable things from the craft guide, it's mostly just clutter.

I'd like to have a comprehensive player inventory where things like maps, shields and other stuff can explicitly be hidden, while creative players still may have those items.

It needs to be a group or something, a simple "hide when no crafting recipe" does not suffice.
