for the reason why their power was decreased, see #2422 and #1476. if they push you back with more force than what you started with, there's no way to cap that, and death machines and crashes result.
Then they can go out of the game...
I can jump pretty high on lvl 6 trampolines. I'd like to keep them ingame, unless there is a dire need to get rid of them.
trampolines are an important part of parkour puzzles on the "inside the box" server. importantly, they never increase velocity. that server shows you can make fun things w/out infinite velocity generators.
