Freebie reports a bug:

Mail needs a draft mode. Wrote a long mail, came a flan and i had to defend myself, all written things gone. No chance.

If you press "esc", the client doesn't report back the text you write. Much like a forum post, when you reload while writing, it's gone.

a "draft" mode would allow you to save what you have written w/out sending it yet.

this is absolutely a feature upstream could use, though they haven't implemented any of the other half-dozen important features...

As a workaround, you could send the mail to yourself.

I'm not sure regarding the state of upstream. Currently I believe the maintainer just wants someone else to implement all the issues and PR them. I'm not really happy about us fixing the whole Minetest universe, when the maintainer is clearly active and capable.

Ok, put myself in the address form and BCC during writing is easily possible. And at the last change me in the address form into the real receiver.
