yl_tools:chest_protected does not appear on the chest conversion formspec when LMB on an existing chest with chest in-hand.
yl_tools:chest_protected is a bit more expensive to craft and would be nice to have this with the formspec click-reduction features from chesttools:shared_chest
It would be helpful to have versions of all chest protection types (default, locked, mese, digiline) that have the convenience features from chesttools:shared_chest. The "Shared" attribute is not always appropriate for gameplay but the convenience features are still desireable. Is it possible to only import some of the technic mod for its consistent variety of chests?

The concept of a "shared" chest at Your Land was at first confusing to me; the word "shared" is used elsewhere to strip away the player ownership of an item for items that retain ownership when in inventory (which might have some mis-use potential i.e. compass depending if that is a problem or not). I think the preferred word elsewhere is "protected" to say that a storage chest is not owned by any player yet follows area protections rules.

Okay! For play on YL I have converted my storage chests to the purple shared chest, away from yl_tools:chest_protected.

It's close... the purple chest is quite useful in its functionality but there's only one version of its protection level. Crafting with paper should make a public version of the purple chest perhaps, and does that make sense?

Larger inventories would not help Your Land, agreed. I'm looking at their consistent terminology for locking and protection, also use of the formspec system.
