like, the speed/jump boosts should gradually be changed over the course of 10 seconds or something.
If we want to get rid of petz eventually, the werewolf mechanics need to be moved to a separate mod.
werewolf mechanics should be part of a general status effects api, as a combination of multiple simultaneous status effects. the mechanisms of becoming a werewolf, and when it should become active, make it seem to me to be something that should be separate but dependent.
