daydream reports a bug:

the flax seed yeild is too high - people end up filling the "your choice" section with it out laziness or cuz they have a ton of it - not exactly what "your choice" is about

Daydream, before you cutted them all out of the Your Choice, there were just five strips flax today, not because of to much seed, just because I wanted that flax for ropes and feathers. Out of the seed someone could make mulch or flax oil.

I dont think flax should be changed for the whole server because of 1 field on the Haven public farm.
imo the public farm is for the basic needs of newbies and shouldnt provide creative like almost all plants available on YL, the "your choice" field is just there to provide newbies a place to plant some more.
newbie Bla needed 2-3 weeks exploring to find wild mint, I also needed quite some time to find the latest cucina plants that got added, 2 weeks later and the "your choice" field was filled with them.

flax seeds are great sources of food_oil. more uses for that are incoming.

ok fair enough, people can grow it in their own gardens and not fill the public farm with it. I already replaced it with something else. I'm the one who put it in the public farm in the first place wanting to make arrows eons ago. Now it's back out :) easy fix.

i didn't realize that flax seed oil (and most other food oils?) actually burn, for the same length of time as a piece of coal. should double check that the non-cv oils also burn
