Plastic hemp and flax cooked and raw
All fluids bucketed or not
Mulch fertilizer bone-meal gunpowder
Wheat and barley rye and parsley
Signs and arrows torches windows
Shrooms and bait, sticks and plates.....
(tempo slows down)
Dye.....
Chains.....
Bones.....
Cans of food.....
Cannonballs.....
Hides and straw.....
(tempo speeds up)
Gates and fences,
Saplings edges,
Doors and braces,
(tempo slows down but still intense)
Leaves and rails!

There are probably more that I forgot to include in this, but I'll add them as I come up with such.

what do you mean by "storage block"? like a kind of node that can only be used to store a specific kind of thing, like bookshelves and vessels shelves are currently?

fluid will soon be able to be stored in the cottages barrel.

It's a block that's more of something else.
Like iron blocks are 9x denser (in inv space) than iron ingots.

What's the use case?

If it's only about "more space in inventory": Not in favour. Not only node limit prevents us to make everything into a compressed state, but also from a game design perspective this would only create temporary space in the inventory.

We already have compressed cobble on the server, but an even MORE compressed cobble was requested. We will not add "compressed" variants of everything only because people do not want to store their items in chests.

node limit prevents us to make everything into a compressed state,

this could be avoided by making them craftitems and not nodes, but overall i don't like this for the reasons listed. it feels like it'd create as much clutter as it'd remove.
