tamed wolf or wild wolf? some wild wolves are afraid of players, some grow more confident when in a larger pack. also, i think wolves ignore players who are werewolves (at least at night).

Someone ask me to be bitten by a black wolfe. I took one and really, he wants not to bite the player. Then I took all my five black wolfes and one of them have done the player to a werewolf. Don't ask me why, but some do, some not.

yup, and because petz AI is what it is, it's impossible to tell why. it might be that some wolves are fearful of certain players and will avoid them.
