I personally haven't noticed any lag when using the minimap, ever. across multiple game versions and machine setups. we should get more info about paneg's setup and when they think they experience from the minimap.
if there's significant lag due to the minimap, this isn't something that can be fixed without changes to the client, so this is almost certainly "invalid" in the sense that we can't fix it without fundamentally altering the client game code.
Aloha,
could you elaborate on the type of lag and why you think the minimap causes it?
Greetings, Alias
The lag- it causes screen to load very slow, and movements to be not smooth. It has caused me to time out in the past. Why the minimap- though obviously other things can and do cause this problem, it happens very consistantly and frequently when I use the minimap. Thank you-paneg
possibly he should switch the minimap mode to "square" instead of "circle"?
