mushroom cow wouldn't be hard to build on top of the flower cow
record player exist in mineclone so they aren't hard too. Mushroom cows too but i think they have another mob-mod.
Let's add to the flower cow that they plant mushrooms when in a mushroom biome or on mushroom dirt.
Ok
flower cow is now aware of many biomes and soil types, including mycelial dirt

Maybe if you craft a cow with a mushroom you get a mushroom cow, but a flower cow should produce flowers on MOST dirts with exceptions, if you have to do this - ok mushroom and sure why not crystal dirt makes crystal grass? but most people use a flower cow to get flowers, NOT a mix of other plants.
If I wanted mushrooms or crystal grass, I would not want flowers... especially all over my crystal grass! And why would anyone want flowers all over their mushroom fields? I think separate cows would work out better. Unless the point is just to annoy players. I've just put my flower cows in a chest until this is resolved one way or the other.
I like the idea of splitting flowercows into different types: #3046
the behavior currently depends on the type of "dirt" the cow ison, or the biome if it's basic (default) dirt. you can absolutely still use them to grow flowers, but they'll also bring along more options. i think putting them on "default:dirt_with_grass" results in them mostly making flowers? if not, we can tweak it so that there's a kind of dirt they only make flowers on.
part of the change was to enable them to restore the natural state of an biome they ended up in, which i think is as much of a valuable feature as being a tool to create dye.
