Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

it's been a longstanding gripe of mine, that creative-only tabs take up valuable screen real estate in unified_inventory.
well, the creative mode shortcuts were removed, though direct links to bags are not present
How would a direct link to bags look like? One that targets each separate bag?
Or would we only have to redirect the bag button to bag1?
How would players then add new bags?
these are all very good questions.
this will be partially resolved when the fix for #2743 goes live, but there's still a couple good ideas here.
created a PR to hide the useless buttons:

PR to hide useless buttons got merged. leaving this open pending what Xonon (or others) think is still needed when UI remembers what you were looking at last.
inventory now remembers what you were looking at.
players have stated that they still wish for bag shortcuts from the crafting tab, so this stays open.

unified_inventory_hide_disabled_buttons = true
in minetest.conf
